INFOhio Discovery Portal

Search results come in form of web sites, Ohio's statewide digital video collection, and select electronic resources.

Academic Search Premier (INFOhio)

Contains multidisciplinary scholarly journals. Many peer-reviewed.

African American History & Culture Online (DML)

Includes biographies, primary sources, timelines, subject entries, images and videos of the African American experience. (Must have a Dayton Metro Library Card to gain access)

American History Online

Covers the American experience through event and topic entries, biographies, images, videos, maps and charts, primary sources, subject- and era-specific timeline entries, and more.

Ancestry Library Edition (INFOhio)

Provides records in census data, vital records, directories, photos and more. Home access is NOT available.

The Art Collection (INFOhio)

Online image collection of paintings, sculptures, drawings, photographs, textiles, costumes, jewelry and more, from earliest times to the present.

Biography Reference Bank (INFOhio)

Articles about more than a half-million people, most in full text, from around the world, both living and dead.

Culture Grams (DML)

Collection of 91 country reports. Each report includes up-to-date, engaging cultural information, complete with images, historical timeline, fun facts, and sections on history, population, “life as a kid,” and more. (Must have a Dayton Metro Library Card to gain access)

Digital Video Collection (INFOhio)

The Ohio Area Instructional Media Centers Digital Video Collection includes hundreds of digital videos that have been made available at no cost to Ohio K-12 districts.

EBSCOhost (INFOhio)

Collection of all databases provided through EBSCO.

Ebsco's All Database Search (INFOhio)

Search a wide range of databases on topics in the areas of Business, Communication, Careers, Education, Environment, Health, Humanities, Medicine, Philosophy, Religion and Technology.

eLibrary (DML)

Enciclopedia Estudiantil Hallazgos (INFOhio)

Online Spanish language encyclopedia that is appropriate for younger Spanish-speaking students and students just learning the Spanish language.

Fact Site: The Lincoln Library Online

FactCite contains The Lincoln Library’s catalog of extensive historical, biographic, and reference material in searchable full-text articles and printable illustrations. FactCite is divided into five subject areas: American History, Biographies, Sports, Greek and Roman Mythology, and Essential Information.
