Dear Staff:
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for another exceptional year in the Northmont City Schools. It is hard to believe that the 2005-06 school year is almost a memory. Your high expectations of student learning define who we are as a district. We believe in our students, in our own abilities, and in the institution of public education. We also know that learning never ends. There is always a need for us to grow and gather more information—to become better at what we do. Thus, the idea of the Northmont Summer Institute was generated, and has grown throughout the years.
The Northmont Summer Institute takes place at Northmont High School from June 5 th –8 th and classes are taught primarily by Northmont staff. Teachers have the option of attending one session or many sessions spread across the four days. The program is designed to meet the needs expressed by staff throughout the year. Technology classes were the most requested classes this year and you will see many listed in this program.
We hope you take this opportunity to learn. The classes are free and the atmosphere is relaxing and inviting. Thanks again for making Northmont a learning community that demonstrates excellence to all.
Sincerely,
Gale Mabry
