Assign-A-Day : Post your own online class calendar with hyperlinks and projects.
Casa Notes : Assemble take-home notes in English and Spanish.
PBL Checklists : Make custom checklists for multiple projects.
R*TEC Teacher : Locate top-rated Tracks, WebQuests, and ThinkQuests for your subject.
Web Worksheet Wizard : Make and post a simple Web page within minutes.
NoteStar : Assist students with collecting group notes and citations for papers.

English Lessons : Designed to be a Business English Lesson website, this site has many interactive quizzes for some of the more difficult grammar rules.  Good for skills building.
Lesson Plans Search : Want to put together a quick lesson or get new ideas?  This site has a number of links sorted by content area to help you find a lesson you can use in your class.
LitPlans :  Literature lesson plans, teachers' guides, and study guides for middle and high school teachers.
ENotes : ENotes is blocked by our school because it supplies information that our monitoring program believes will help students "cheat."  There is a wealth of information that you and your students can use.  You will want to decide if you want to make them aware of it or not.
The Quotations and Sayings Database : A database of quotations, sayings, proverbs, and more.  Great for speech units, persuasive writing, and rhetorical devices.
Teacher Web : This is a fantastic site, though it is not free.  This site enables you to build and maintain a website for only $2.50 per month, or $25.00 per year.  It's easy to use and visually appealing.  It's well worth the money.
Web English Teacher : A plethora of resources for English teachers as well as links to other teaching resources. Education World : An abundance of information, ideas, and plans.  Often requires clicking through several pages to get to the ideas you want, but enough information and ideas to make it worth while.
Oxford English Dictionary : There are plenty of online dictionaries available online, but this is one of the best.  It is comprehensive, easy to use, and has some additional features you might enjoy.
Marco Polo : A ccess high-quality, standards-based lesson plans, student activities, reviewed Web sites and other resources.
Lesson Plans Page : Designed to help teach technology classes.  Could be useful if you want your kids to learn programs such as PowerPoint.
Learning Page : Learning Page provides a huge collection of professionally produced instructional materials you can download and print. Lesson plans, books, worksheets, and much more can be found on the site.
Teacher Time Saver : Forms, passes, and more. All created and ready to print.  Requires Acrobat Reader.
ESL Resources for Students : A number of resources for English as a Second Language students.
National Archives and Records Administration : Great for online research.  You will know that this source contains accurate information.
Superintendent of Public Instruction : This site has a great deal of information about any number of educationally related topics.
Discovery School : Hey, it's from The Discovery Channel.  Many resources for students and teachers -- primarily science related.  Click Here for the link to "Literature and Language Arts."
AOL at School : Well designed and easy to use resource for students and teachers.
Holt, Rineart, and Winston : This site links students to a vast collection of educational online materials directly related to chapter content.
CyberGuides :  are supplementary, standards-based, web-delivered units of instruction centered on core works of literature. Each CyberGuide contains a student and teacher edition, standards, a task and a process by which it may be completed, teacher-selected web sites and a rubric, based on California Language Arts Content Standards.
Education Place : Pre-K–8 resources for teachers, students, and parents. Includes Reading/Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, Intervention, Professional Development, activities, games, and textbook support.
CNN Student News : Great for current events, journalism, and social studies classes.
Federal Resources for Education Excellence : A great deal of information and resources, but like most government sponsored sites, tends to be a bit cumbersome to navigate through to find what you're looking for.  Good examples of essays to use as models for students.
Pics 4 Learning : Provides free clipart and photo images relevant to many lessons you may be teaching.
Microsoft Office : Provides clipart and photo images you may find useful.  While on the site, check out the free templates and other resources they provie.
The Educator's Reference Desk : Lesson plans, archived questions, and more.  An excellent K-12 resource. Internet 4 Classrooms : A huge list of links and abstracts.  Many of the links show potential; however, you could become overwhelmed by your options.  Better than most sites like this, and fewer advertisements.
