Study Island

Study Island is a new web-based program available to all teachers across the district. According to the makers of Study Island, "Study Island is a leading provider of web-based state assessment preparation programs and standards based learning programs." Further, the makers claim,

Study Island is used by over two million students in over 6,000 schools. Here are the highlights from our 2004-2005 teacher survey:

98.4% say Study Island helped increase their test scores. 95.9% say their students enjoy using Study Island. 97.2% plan on renewing Study Island next school year.

CIT is currently setting up dates to train faculty on Study Island. You may access it now; however, if you wish to venture out on your own. Please understand that our ability to provide one-on-one support at this time is limited as this program is new to our district and we are preparing for district-wide training. Username = Your current Northmont email address.
Password = Last 4 digits of your SSN
